"Vandy's Ready Jet" aka "Chico"is a 1990 Q.H. Gelding.  He has been with me for twelve years,  now.  He is defiantly "One of a kind"!!  He was one of those scrawny little runts, as a two year old, that no one thought would amount to much....I even had my doubts.  I purchased him from my sister's father in law, Bill Powers, for $1000.  I am a sucker for a bay with alot of white markings and if nothing else he had nice color and plenty of personality.  He started out good, showing promise, and we just kinda let him do his thing!  He held his own as a futurity horse and just kinda blossomed from there.  He has won me numerous open barrel races, won Res. Am. Barrel Horse at he Q.H. World, Made it back in the Barrel Sweeps at the Q.H. Congress, placing third in the go and third in the Average just to mention a few.  He is also souly responsible for taking me to five consecutive International Finals Rodoe's, (IFR's).  I am very fortunate to have him as a partner.  To see Chico make a run click here:  Video  (File is Safe to download)

"Chance Bar Tease" aka "Chance", 1996 Q.H. Stallion.  Chance has been with me since he was a yearling.  I did not start him until he was a four year old.  He was a real challenge, being a stallions and all.  There was a point where he came real close to becoming a gelding!!  In the last two years he has made great progress...becoming a gentlemen and becoming a very  nice barrel horse.  He is one of the best riding horses I have.  He is quiet and very comfortable to ride.  I would put a beginner or a young rider on him.  But he really knows when it is time for business.  You put him in a chute or alleyway and he is ready to make a good solid run.  He has progressed well in the rodeo arena also.  He will handle any type of ground, good or bad, and any size arena.  He has really come through for me at the rodeo's giving Chico a well deserved break from having to run all the rodeo's.  He performs really well at open shows for both Dave and I.  He has won Dave two saddles and countless wins in the last two years and is doing a great job making the pay window at the rodeo's.  I think he has a great future in barrel racing not to mention standing at stud.  We have a five year old gelding out of him that is ready to haul, running great.  Watch for "Chancetaroll" and "Tin Zan Man" run by Kelly Pitts.  These off spring are well on the way to becoming outstanding barrel and pole horses.  We will stand him if anyone is interested, AI only!  To view Chance's pedigree click HERE.  If you might be interested just "Contact Us" and we can discuss the details.  To see Chance make a run click here:   Video  (File is Safe to download)
